In rural Iowa there is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Higway 25. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing it’s character many times.

A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It’s quite an impressive sight.

Eva Malecki, spokeswoman for the Architect of the Capitol, said the office suspects that consumers who use the Internet to find out how to purchase flags flown over the U.S. Capitol run into a commercial reseller before discovering that they can order the flag from their representative or senator for a fraction of the cost.

Lorianne from Keene, New Hampshire gives a great “on-the-spot” report of the primary “circus”. While walking her dog she got a picture of Sign holders with all the “American Juxtaposions”: yellow ribbons, American flags, POW flags, and state flags.
